PS: its great been able to post something finally….
Funny to see Veronica also struggling!
Can’t say I’m too impressed by the format of this blog. Not user friendly at all.
Anyway, hope everyone was happy with the training. I’m starting to get a feel for what the new practical format is going to be like.
Got comment from Rick and maybe I can help with putting a blog entry.
1. Go to http://edublogs.org/, enter your username/password.
2. Under ‘Your Edublog Info’, you can find a ‘Your Dashboard’, click that.
3. Click Practical Course Team Blog tab, which you can find on top beside Edublog – education blogs.
4. Click Write a New Post; then ‘publish’ after you write your entry.
There’s variety ways of how to customise your entry either through Visual or HTML.
Hope that helps
well, I just posted an introduction as a comment to Allan’s post. The idiot that I am. I suppose I can repeat myself. I’m Rick, the one studying invasive crayfish. My principal supervisor is Jon Grey.
cheers
Hello everyone. Yeah, it’s me, Allan with the double L in the name. And it seems that I’m the first one again to introduce.
I originally came from Philippines, where I actually finished my first undergraduate degree in Biology, then I moved to Cardiff to finish another bachelor’s degree – Genetics. I’m currently doing my MPhil/PhD on the structural study of the Type II secretion system of Erwinia, under Professor Richard Pickersgill.
The origin of my username/nickname is quite unusual but I just got used to using this and well, I am known as this username in the internet, much like my name in the real world. LOL.
I am Head of Academic Practice, based in Educational and Staff Development.
I have a compllicated background – and at one stage was an occupational psychologist.
I am here to support the group work aspects of the newe practicals format and to provide assistance to you if needed.
